Pedestal repair

In the restoration of a sculpture, it sometimes appears that the base is damaged or is not attached to the image. Furthermore, it appears that a pedestal is too small for the image, especially when the image is quite high. In these cases, the restoration of the pedestal is discussed with the owner and sometimes it is decided to place a sculpture on a new (to be made) pedestal.
